School is a huge part of family and community life. It’s where our children spend their days; it’s where we gather to cheer on the home team, celebrate talent, and promote the pursuit of lifelong learning. Use this page to keep apprised of the news and events that affect your family.

Field Trip Supplies

When our classes go on field trips, students will need to dress for the weather and bring some items with them. We all know what the weather is like in the springtime, so dressing in layers is a must. Also remember, hiking trails might be muddy so shoes might get a bit messy. For most field trips students should bring:

  • A healthy snack
  • Large bottle of water (1 L minimum)
  • Sunscreen and chapstick
  • Hat or sunglasses
  • Backpack
  • Sack lunch (no sugary drinks, please)
  • Layers (raincoat, t-shirt, light jacket)
  • Shoes for hiking–it might be muddy, no sandals, please
  • A kind attitude!

Our homeroom teachers will send a note through Seesaw outlining the recommended items needed for each field trip.

Donated Clothing and Shoes

We are always looking for donations of gently used clothing and shoes. If you are cleaning out those outgrown items, think about donating them to the school. We are looking for clothing sizes 7-16 and tennis shoes 4-10. We would also be happy to take those coats and jackets that are too small for your child. Thanks so much for thinking of us.
